Frequently Asked Questions
What documents can or can not be notarized?
Documents that can be notarized:
  • We can notarize most legal and financial documents, including wills, powers of attorney, affidavits, real estate forms, loan documents, estate plans, and more. If you're unsure whether your document requires notarization, feel free to reach out—we're happy to guide you.
Documents the can NOT be notarized:
• Incomplete or blank documents
• Documents signed by someone not present
• Copies of vital records (birth, death, or marriage certificates)
• Wills without proper oversight (in some cases)
• Documents involving a personal interest to the notary
• Situations involving suspicion or incapacity

Acceptable forms of ID
  • State-Issued Driver’s License
  • State-Issued Non-Driver ID Card
  • U.S. Passport or Passport Card
  • U.S. Military ID (must contain photo and signature)
  • Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
  • Foreign Passport (if issued by a recognized foreign government and contains a photo and signature)
  • Tribal Identification Card (with photo and signature)
  • Credible Witness
Unacceptable forms of ID
  • Social Security cards
  • Birth certificates

  • Documents missing a photo or signature
  • Copies or photos of IDs
What is included in the Full Service Fees?
Our full service fees cover everything you need for a smooth and complete notarization experience. This includes:
  • Printing of your documents
  • All required notarizations
  • A walk-through of your documents, where your notary will explain terminology and help you understand where to sign and why each section matters.

Please note: Notaries are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice. However, they are allowed to explain what each document is generally used for. For example, during a trust signing, they can explain that a trustee is the person designated to manage the trust and should be named on the appropriate line—but they cannot tell you who your trustee should be. Please consult with an attorney with any legal questions before meeting with a notary.
  • Scanning and returning signed documents (scan backs)
  • Drop-off to FedEx or UPS using a provided prepaid label
  • Up to 10 miles of travel included at no extra charge
This all-in-one service is designed to give you peace of mind, especially for complex signings like real estate or estate planning.
*If any of the included services are not needed, the full service fee remains the same. This flat-rate pricing ensures simplicity and avoids unexpected charges.
Basic vs Full Service Estate Notarizations
Basic Estate Notarization Service
For clients who already have prepared estate documents.
Includes:
  • Mobile notarization of estate documents (e.g., will, power of attorney, trust)
  • Printing of prepared documents
  • Walk through of documents with the signers
  • Identity verification and proper notarial procedure
  • Travel to your location (up to 10 miles included)
Full Estate Notarization Service
For clients who do not have prepared estate documents and want to create a DIY estate from start to finish.
Includes:
  • State specific estate planning templates (e.g., will, POA, healthcare directive, living trust, revocable trust)
  • Remote online meeting to walk through the documents and fill in any necessary information.
  • Identity verification and proper notarial procedure.
  • Printing and delivery of completed documents.
  • Travel to your location (up to 10 miles included)
  • In-person notarization of all required signatures.
What if I do not require all of the documents in an estate?
Each estate planning document is priced individually, so you are welcome to choose only the documents you need. You do not have to purchase or complete the full estate package to use our services.
If you’d like multiple original copies of any document (for example, two signed and notarized copies of your Power of Attorney), each copy must be executed separately and will be charged as an additional notarization service.
*We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. While we can guide you on where to sign and explain general terminology, we cannot interpret the law or answer legal questions. We recommend consulting an estate planning attorney to ensure your documents are accurate and legally sound. DIY estate planning is an option with proper research, but professional legal guidance is always advised. Please note: we only offer full estate notarization services for revocable trusts with state specific templates and do not offer services for irrevocable trusts or complex estate plans.
